travel fever vs. camp fires

Oh for pete's sake! i just can't seem to settle myself down- constant motion seems to propel me into a state where i have feel i'm burning alive...the one that seeps into your pores, fills your nostrels, and won't let up till my feet touch down on foreign soil...
i've caught the bug, the one that wanderers and dreamers all seem spread like contagion

I have a calling from Paris, my most favorite of European city, and maybe the following weeks will see me gazing down la Seine or perhaps across the wide and beautiful metropolis from La Tour, eventually lazing under the trees and the stars with a bottle of cheap Merlot and someone's hand in mine...

Lately though, i've taken to reading lots, hanging out in one place without the urgency to get up and run off somewhere exotic...I suppose the setting has something to do with that - spending weeks in the country will do that to anyone, i would think..Swimming and gardening, that's joy to me ! Having my city friends over for a long weekend reminds us all the importance of fresh air and water...Hopefully I'll be camping there sometime soon ! Now back in Toronto, i've found a friendly neighbor who's invited myself and all my roommies to use his backyard pool on those unbearably hot and humid typical Torontonian summer days! Thanks man
