gurgling river & runny nose
My, my, my...
First week down, one more to go and I've already come down with a headcold.
It must be these kids coughing right in my face..
That and the fact I haven't slept more that 5 hours every night this week.
Something about seeing the clock strike midnight, I can't seem to get bed without it these days
I'll be ok, though..The thought of waking up early and greeting the bring morning sun came as a warm welcome today, as I crunched into a snowy river bank along the Saugeen river up in middle-of-nowhere Ontario on a beautiful farm with lots of dogs accompanying us...The sounds of Spring, and the sun peering through the tree branches gave such a lovely glow to the world that I found myself very happy to be awake and alive to apperciate such a wonderful time of the day..So much for being a creature of the night..
Again I will be rising early tomorrow (in a few hours, really) to join in a powwow of sorts - friends and I are attending a Native American welcoming of Spring ceremony at dawn, so I heed to the calling of my warm sheets !
I must have been born backwards, it's now we're suppose to come out of hibernation, and here I am crawling into my little nest..Oh well, sweet dreams await !
